The other night USANA Amphitheater in northern Utah hosted Lady Antebellum, Sam Hunt, and Hunter Hayes. I’m not one for country music, but I figured why not, I might as well go. The tickets were reasonably priced and an excuse to drink on a Wednesday is always handy.
I got off work at 6 and met up with some friends then proceeded to the concert. The 20 minute drive turned into nearly an hour and a half drive with all the traffic. At first, I didn’t think the concert would attract a large crowd, but I was wrong. The amount of people at the concert was unbelievable. USANA has over 20,000 seats with a huge lawn, yet the massive clusterfuck of people were still required to stand shoulder to shoulder. At this stage, I wasn’t exactly stoked on the event.
After a few too many Budweiser’s I began to enjoy the concert. The people around us were amazing and having a large, yet fun group with us was very helpful. The night unexpectedly ended up consisting of many memories, while opening my ears to country music. Currently, it’s safe to say I’m going through a country craze and I have Lady Antebellum to thank. Going to this concert has made me very enthused on what the rest of the summer has to offer!
Next on the list is Luke Bryan!
